![]() +Yuusuf Sallahuddin my corel got flagged yesterday… it was less headache to start my smoothie conversion than trying to get the m2nano going That way it can’t connect & check if it is a valid Corel install.Įdit: side note, you will still need the supplied USB key that came with your machine plugged into the computer to operate the laser. In there go to the outbound rules & block the following two files (see image): ![]() rar archive, 1 for CorelDraw x5 & the other for CorelLaser & 1 readme.txt that I wrote to explain the installation process).Īfter you install, you want to go into Windows Firewall with Advanced Security (windows 10, not sure what it is called in previous versions). I don’t have that issue myself (blocked it in Windows Firewall). A few have been having issues with it saying it is non-genuine serial number lately though. Or there is a copy of CorelDraw x5 (with keygen) hosted in my dropbox. I didnt know you can have different tasks with laserDRW, Ill have to check into that!Ī copy supplied with the machine - or - you can contact the seller for a copy. Im not using the corel plug in because it says it needs corel draw installed, and the whole suite is $500. You can try making the inside cuts task 1 and the out side cuts task 2 Have you tried using the coreldraw plugin What is the weight and width of the lines? I tried it checked and unchecked and both ways gave me the virtual middle finger I forgot to mention that the checkbox is checked. Isn’t there aq checkbox for that? Look on the engrave/cutting/marking menu for box you check to get that or not get that I tried rebooting both the pc and the cutter but no go. Its cutting the border first, then it drops in and Im screwed for the inside cuts! It matter if its jpg or bmp or whatever? Otherwise its behaving perfectly, I just need to fix that one item. for some reason my LaserDRW isnt cutting from ‘inside out’. It’s the next step needed to make laser cutting/engraving get out of the niche world and into mass market capability.Hey all. Dan’s going to do for lasers what HP did for printing The GF lets us focus on design and not need to be hardware/software geeks. The software for these is a bad English translation of rudimentary Chinese functionality that has to be matched with specific hardware. This is one of the biggest reasons I’m looking forward to the GF. If those two settings aren’t correct you’re going to get weird things happening. ![]() In the serial number field (bottom left) enter the serial number from the controller board under the right side panel of the machine. In the machine field (top box) make sure you pick the entry with “-M2” in it. In LaserDRW or CorelLaser hit the config or machine setup/preferences. Your speed issue is likely a config problem. Here’s a link on using Corel to do both cutting & engraving - you’ll use layers and send them one at a time. That’s also where you set things like power, starting position, speed, etc.ĬorelLaser is useful if you want to manipulate your design and then you hit the icon to send it to the laser & you’ll get the same pop-up options. The pop-up asks for Engrave or Cut (it can’t do both at once) and hit the “Starting” button. Then I open it up in LaserDRW and send it over. I do my work in AI or Inkscape and save as/export as either a BMP or DXF file if it’s something I may use on other lasers (I use the K40 for smaller stuff or for scaled down versions of something as I test designs). ![]() Also, have you found any other software that will work that is easier/more user friendly?
